Course Description

This course is designed to follow a sequence of applied learning, capitalizing on the foundations set forth in Principles of Marketing, Digital Marketing Fundamentals, Digital Foundations I & II, and Writing for Emergent Media courses. Students develop a professional website and social media platform using digital art and design, video content, proper writing for emergent media, and key marketing fundamentals. Students follow the core principals of website marketing for different types of businesses including e-commerce, small business, non-profit, personal, blogs, portfolio, membership, event, informational, and online forum, and choose one of these types to design their digital media platforms in tandem.
