Program Description
The Applied Biology (BS) program focuses on the application of general biological sciences. Students in the program will be exposed to a broad base of biology and chemistry courses that lead to a variety of upper-level biological specializations from ecological and organismal concepts to cellular and molecular concepts. It provides graduates with a broad base of knowledge, along with well-rounded, hands-on experiences. This program prepares graduates for a diverse field of jobs such as an organismal biologist, environmental scientist, or molecular researcher. This program can also prepare graduates to seek transfer options to graduate or professional programs.
