This is an online course that includes a study of the key areas of risk for healthcare organizations in general. Compliance is an essential element of any healthcare organization. This course prepares the student to understand the components of an effective compliance plan, the role of a compliance officer, specific legislation in regard to compliance in healthcare, the audit process and enable the student to author policies and procedures.
