Strategic Management Capstone
Course Description
This course applies the theoretical approaches to Strategic Management. Major concepts, tool, and processes are explored through lectures, readings, team activities, case study applications, and business simulations. Major topics include creating a competitive advantage, analyzing the external and internal environment of an organization, and developing business-level, corporate-level, and international-level strategies. Strategic control and corporate governance, creating organizational designs, creating an ethical organization, managing innovation, and fostering corporate entrepreneurship are also addressed. The completion of a business simulation is required.
