Fundamentals of Management
Course Description
This course deals with the skills necessary to become a manager. The students develop an understanding of management theories and management skills through an examination of the basic function of management. The concepts of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling a business organization are examined to show how these basic principles can be used to create a healthy and thriving organization in today's global environment. Special attention is given to decision-making, problem solving, and leadership in an environment where productivity improvements are major concern.
