Course Description

This course introduces students to the emerging field of cloud computing technologies. This course is the first course in a two-course sequence which provides the student with a foundation and survey of the many new emerging cloud computing tools being used to maintain the internet. Topics include SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, & IDaaS, Data Storage, Collaboration, Securing, and Disaster Recovery in the cloud. This course uses industry leading cloud services and cloud datacenter technologies. A variety of cloud service provider's products and platforms are explored through appropriate hands-on labs.
