Course Description

This course examines the fundamental concepts of information technology (IT) focusing on essential aspects such as operating systems, virtualization, networking, cybersecurity, hardware, and generative artificial intelligence (GenAI). Students will explore core IT activities, key career roles, and implement practical skills including designing and managing a small office/home (SOHO) network and prompt engineering with GenAI.
