Course Description
This course provides students with an understanding of basic plant structure and function, including physiology and anatomy of the plant cell, tissues, roots, stems, leaves, growth and development, photosynthesis, respiration, reproduction, and classification. Case studies and laboratory activities include use of the scientific method and evaluation of numerical and graphical data in support of hypotheses.
